half a year ago today my debutalbum WITH ME IN HERE came out and nostalgy just hit me looking at these pictures from the recording sessions of this album. A lot of hard work, dedication and frustration was contrasted by the joy of seeing it all come together. I am so happy that a lot of people love this record as much as I do and am gratefull for everyone listening sharing and espicalliy for the ones having a part in the creation.

This is a cover of GAMMA a very good song by @fewjar (@jakojokomo @andremoghimi and @f.dnzr) I have been following fewjar for a long time now watching their roomsessions and BTS videos 8 years ago but gamma has been hitting me differently, so here it is 😊 I really struggled trying to nail all of the sounds and I feel like I'm at 85% here. (I'm watching a lot of reverse engineering with @moroccochris right now and everytime I try to recreate a sound i feel like him trying to recreate a dish🧑‍🍳)

Some non music related content today. Prior to the easter weekend I've been hiking through the "sächsische Schweiz". It was astonishingly beautiful despite the somewhat bad weather, but what struck me was how many of the trees there have died due to dryness and the bark beetle. Around a fifth of the trees there are dead and a lot of them have fallen down, leaving some of these images looking like a mess of broken matchsticks. The fact that we can already see that some of nature as we know it here will not be able to adapt to the rapidly changing climate honestly frightens me and I think we need to take action to tackle the damage that has been done and will be inevitable.

I've been recording this cover-snippet of @michaelkiwanuka 's LOVE&HATE a song that I love very much and have been listening to for years now. The album with the same title was one of the reasons I switched my main focus from rock to pop and singer-songwriter style music and is one of my all-time favorite albums ❤️

I've just listened to a song of mine on the radio and tomorrow and on Thursday I will again. WDR3 plays one song of my album a day for the whole week and I cannot believe it. Also it's kind of funny hearing people talk about me on the radio 📻
